Baankey Ki Crazy Baraat movie story:
Baankey Ki Crazy Baraat film story is based on the concept of Proxy Wedding. In the movie the groom families deceive the bride families, in case the boy is not good looking or has a dosh (fault) in his kundali.
The boys family hire a ‘proxy’ groom who participates in all the rituals at the wedding. After completion of marriage rituals when the girl reaches her in-laws house, she comes to know that the boy during the wedding was changed. The practice is commonly known as Proxy Wedding.
The movie Baankey Ki Crazy Baraat revolves around Baankey (Rajpal Yadav) a goofy, hyper boy-man is desperate to get married. He is in his mid-30’s and cannot get married due to a fault in his kundali (Birth astrology). His wily Chacha Kanhaiya Lal (Sanjay Mishra), a shrewd moneylender, along with his friend, Lallan Bhaiyya,(Vijay Raaz) a village goon, then concoct a plan to get a proxy groom for Baankey’s wedding.
The proxy groom, Rajesh is thrilled to land up with this project where he is promised a lakh of rupees, to be a proxy groom for two days.
On the day the Marriage Baankey Baarat is about to board the bus, Rajesh does not show up. What happens after that is a roller coaster ride in a crazy baraat.
