Talvar Movie wiki: Talvar (Guilty) movie is an upcoming Bollywood mystery thriller film which is based on real accident. The movie is directed by Meghna Gulzar. The story sketch of the movie is based on the 2008 Noida double murder case, in which a teenage girl (Aarushi Talwar) and her family servant were found murdered, and her parents were arrested for the murders. The film is based on the parents’ account of the events, and builds a defense case for them. The star cast of Talvar is as Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Tabu, Neeraj Kabi and Sohum Shah in leading roles and Atul Kumar and Gajraj Rao in supporting role. Initially the film title was Nyodda, changed to Talvar in February 2015. The film’s premiere is scheduled at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Talvar movie story:
In 2008, 14-year-old Aarushi Talwar and 45-year-old Hemraj Banjade, a domestic help employed by her family were found murdered in her home. After a controversial investigation, her parents Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar were convicted for the murder, based on circumstantial evidence. Many critics argued that the judgment was based on weak evidence. Aarushi’s aunt Vandana Talwar, who launched a campaign to prove the parents’ innocence, provided some material to the film’s writer Vishal Bhardwaj. Bhardwaj is also said to have received first-hand accounts from Rajesh and Nupur Talwar.
The film Talvar builds a defense case for the Aarushi Talwar parents: the murder and the investigation are narrated entirely from the parents’s point-of-view.
In the movie Bollywood big star Irrfan Khan plays an Investigating Officer role, Avika Gor as Aarushi Talwar, Konkona Sen Sharma plays Nupur Talwar-Aarushi’s mother, Tabu as Aarushi’s aunt, Neeraj Kabi as Rajesh Talwar-Aarushi’s father.
