Ltd (Pakistan) involved in this big scam to providing fake degrees to the student globally.  This will be totally swindled for some of the students who completed their online courses form Axact and got degree from there. This was completely swindled news for those students who think they’ll eventually be sent legit coursework form Axact, while others know they’re paying for an “instant degree,” desired to boost their resume or get a job and promotion. One Saudi man coughed up $400,000 for this fake degree from Axact, Yasir Jamshaid (one of the employee form Axact) tells the Times.

Today, Axact claims to be the “World’s Best Leading IT Company” (by what measure no one is quite sure) with a “global presence across 6 continents, 120 countries and 1,300 cities with more than 25,000 employees and associates.” Axact, by its own account, has “10 diverse business units (that) offer more than 23 world class products,” with more than two billion users worldwide and a customer base of 40 million.

On other hand according to an investigation by ‘The New York Times’, Axact Pvt. Ltd. rakes in millions of dollars in revenue from a rather sinister business: Providing Fake Degrees under dozens of fake online courses.

According to Times, Shoaib Shaikh runs Axact pvt. Ltd. Or Axact’s universities seen from the Internet, it is a vast education empire. Hundreds of universities offered professional courses from high school to the doctorate level professional degrees with elegant names and smiling professors at sun-dappled American campuses. Social media has helped to add a mask of legitimacy to the operation, including the use of fake LinkedIn profiles id’s for made-up professors of Axact’s universities.

New York Times added, Their professional websites, glossy and assured, offer dozens of online degrees in many different professional disciplines, like nursing, civil engineering, IT professional courses, etc. There are glowing endorsements on the CNN iReport website, enthusiastic video testimonials, and State Department authentication certificates bearing the signature of Secretary of State John Kerry.

After all these charges pointed by New York Times on Axact’s, Axact said in a statement that it “condemns this story as baseless, substandard, maligning, defamatory and based on false accusations and merely a figment of imagination published without taking the company’s point of view.”

“All ten business units of Axact are completely legitimate, legal and committed to enhancing the quality of IT services across the world,” the statement added.

Rate of Degree certificates:

According to the Times report Axact provide the fake degrees in many technical and management professional courses and they changes as follows;

  • High school diplomas charges = $350 (Approx.)
  • MBA diploma certificate charges=$3000 (Approx.)
  • Doctoral degrees charges = $4,000 (Approx.)  etc.

  • “It’s a very sales-oriented business,” said a former employee who, like several others, spoke on the condition of anonymity because he feared legal action by Axact.
  • “They would threaten the customers, telling them that their degrees would be useless if they didn’t pay up,” said a former sales agent who left Axact in 2013.
  • “One Saudi man spent over $400,000 on fake degrees and associated certificates”, said Mr. Jamshaid, the former employee.

‘Axact’ fake empire makes tens of millions of dollars annually by offering diplomas and degrees online through hundreds of fictitious schools. Axact employees often follow up aggressively with previous customers, pushing them to buy more. Some pose as American officials, badgering clients to spend thousands of dollars on State Department authentication letters. Payments are funneled through offshore firms.
