They climb the famous Wembley steps, faces beaming, and Aston Villa fan Prince William – slightly grim-faced, it has to be said – hands the trophy to Per Mertesacker and Alexis Sanchez. Up goes the cup, and down comes the ticker tape.

Arsenal’s win means Southampton are in Europe, with Liverpool going straight into the Europa League group stage. But never mind all that; this is about Arsenal, and it’s especially for Arsene Wenger, who is manager of Arsenal club, becoming a bona fide FA Cup legend today.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could be excused if he felt like singing a verse of ‘we’ve won our trophy back’ after his team retained the FA Cup with a 4-0 demolition of Aston Villa in Saturday’s night, 30th May 2015 final at Wembley.

The 65-year-old Frenchman is now one of the most successful football club managers in FA Cup of modern times. He has led the Gunners to a 12th triumph; it’s a record itself for football’s oldest knockout competition.

With shearing their memorable moment with reporters Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger says, “I am very proud of that because if it has not been done it shows that it is not easy,”

Alexis Sanchez added a second after the break with an egregious kick that shot swerved one way and then the other before defender Per Mertesacker and substitute Olivier Giroud completed a conformed victory.

“It was a convincing win because we were at it from the first to the last minute. I never felt the focus or the quality dropped,” says by Arsene Wenger to reporters.

“I had many, many, many big decisions to make before the game. I had to leave big players out of the squad but I just tried to find a good balance in the team.” Wenger added in his statement.

Arsenal club finished at third in the Premier League and Wenger is backing his side to build on their second straight FA Cup 2015 success, they beat Hull City by 3-2 in the final 12 months ago, next term.

“We feel we have made progress since the start

of the season in the way we play and the way we manage games,” he added.

“Of course we can push on. It is about consistency at the top level. In the past when we have won leagues we have been consistent” said by Wenger.

The Gunners may need to go into the transfer market to catch Premier league champions Chelsea but Arsenal manager Mr. Wenger’s mind was set firmly on where his strengthen players of club were taking him for a celebratory drink.

“The players of the club have organised it and I’m just following them” he said. “I’ve organised the whole season so I just want to follow tonight” said by Wenger to reporters.
