Rating of Bajrangi Bhaijaan (BB): 3 Stars/ 5 Stars
No doubt actor Salman Khan is secular credentials. He is one actor who never tires of talking about the multi-religious ethnicity of his family and he has reasons to do so. But this time Salman has decided to extend this ideology to the themes of his films as well.
This ideology of Salman has been started with his previous projects Jai Ho where his crusader ‘aam aadmi’ image was built. Kick consolidated this image, and this time Bajrangi Bhaijaan ‘BB’ completes the picture. With this ideology Salman also spread a humanity message among audience with surly impact his fans thinking. These film presents the bhai as the quintessential ‘aam aadmi’ who is forever ready to embrace religious pluralism if that is the last resort. And guess what, Salman does it in a style no one else can.
In BB Salman khan plays a role of Pawan Kumar Chautrvedi (Salman Khan) who enjoys the burden of carrying the legacy of his RSS member father in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. This is not exactly a load as Pawan grows up to be an extremely religious guy who likes to bow down to every monkey he meets. Pawan is least interested in studies and wrestling, two streams Pawan’s father wants him to excel in. Pawan’s life is turned upside down when his father sends him away to Delhi for, what else, a job. As Bollywood romantic drama films in this film, once in the city, Pawan meets day, Rasika (Kareena Kapoor Khan) and her tough-nut father Digambar (Sharat Saxena), a devout Brahmin.
Pawan, alias Bajrangi, stays true to his religion in the big city, he never missing any chance to attend anything that has Lord Hanuman’s (Bajrangbali) name next to it. His pursuits lead him to Kurukshetra where he finds an abandoned Six-year-old girl Munni (Harshaali Malhotra) after dancing his shoes off to Selfie le le re.
As a Hero responsibility, Pawan takes it upon himself to reunite Munni’s with her parents. Just that he has a set of problems that threaten to throw his mission off balance right from the word go: he has no passport, he never lies, and he is a vegetarian.
On facing all this problems, In BB Salman’s most mellowed down performance in recent times: he refrains from flaunting his street fighting skills (unless he’s left with no option, that is), and he has managed to look innocent in the scenes where his character’s inner dilemma over non-vegetarian food comes out or when he finds that Munni is actually a Muslim (Who he likes to call Mohamden similar to a large number of North-Indians).
During his journey to reunite Pakistani girl Munni’s with her parents across the border he meets with Chand Nawab (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who is a local television journalist.
So Bajrangi Bhaijaan ‘BB’ film has not large number of twists or turns it’s simple and straight forward movie with great humanity message beyond religions with amazing performances by all lead actors either Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui or cute and innocent face Harshaali Malhotra plays a 6-year-old can’t talk child.
“Bajrangi Bhaijaan” has rich production values. Singer Pritam Chakraborty and Komail Shayan’s soundtracks, Julius Packiam’s backgrounds score, Aseem Mishra’s picturisation and exotic locales are other big attraction of the movie.

Record-breaker! #BajrangiBhaijaan is Salman Khan’s BEST movie to date. Also, it is, without doubt, his CAREER-BEST performance. Wins you over completely. Nawazuddin is, as always, marvellous. But I’d like to single out Harshali Malhotra, who performs brilliantly. Adorable! #BajrangiBhaijaan.

#BajrangiBhaijaan is a very good content driven film which can be considered part of #SalmanKhan’s best films till date. However #BajrangiBhaijaan truly belongs to #NawazuddinSiddiqui and the little girl who played Shahida #HarshaaliMalhotra #BajrangiBhaijaan Songs needed to be shortened, pacing needed to be better and far too much emotional manipulation.
Through these all review no doubt Bajrangi Bhaijaan (BB) will impress their audience with its heart touching story and successful to spread a humanity message beyond religion or border.
