Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is a relieved man, as the High Court has granted him permission to travel to Dubai today afternoon. Salman Khan, who was invited to perform at an awards function in Dubai with some other Bollywood celebrities, he had forwarded an appeal at the High Court to do so. High court vacation judge Justice Shalini Phansalkar-Joshi while allowing the actor imposed certain terms and conditions.
This superstar not only has to adduce his entire Dubai travel excisional of three days: Wednesday, May 27 to Saturday, May 30. But Salman Khan will also have to inform the authorities about his traveling information from India to Dubai like flight number and details of where he was going to stay in the foreign country. In addition, he also has to give his cell as well as landline number of place he is supposed to stay at.
Along with all this, actor Salman Khan had to adduce an additional security of Rs. 2 lakh apart from informing the Indian consulate of his arrival when he reaches Dubai. The same procedure will apply on his return from Dubai to India after three days. Salman will have handover his passport to the investigating agency within 12 hours of his arrival back in India, as per Justice Phansalkar Joshi said.
Salman Khan was convicted on charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder in the 2002 hit-and-run case in that accident one man died and four were serious injured. But the HighCourt had granted him Bail, as well as suspending his jail term.
